Racket Sports

Racket sports are a category of sports disciplines in which a racket is used as the basic tool for playing. Rackets are usually made from a combination of different materials, including wood, metal, graphite, composite materials, and synthetic fiber materials.

Depending on the sport, rackets can be of different shapes, sizes and weights. While some rackets are equipped with mesh strings that allow elasticity when hitting the ball, as in tennis or badminton, others, such as padel or pickleball rackets, have a solid surface. This diversity in design and materials reflects the specific needs and requirements of each individual racquet sport.
